El Buda de Tian Tan: el buda sentado, de bronce, al aire libre, más grande del mundo (los 3 calificativos son necesarios).

The Tian Tan Buddha: the largest seating, brass, open-air budha in the world (the 3 qualificatives are necessary).


     Fetos de venado, secos, para uso medicinal. Deer fetus, dry, for medicinal use.    Un templo, con muchos inciensos colgando del techo. El incienso reemplaza al rol de las velas en las iglesias occidentales. A temple, with many incense sticks hanging from the cealing. The incense replaces the role of the candles in western churches.        Diosas llevando ofrendas al Buda. En el centro del templo hay una reliquia, que en el sentido budista es algo muy particular: es un trozo irrompible del cuerpo de alguien iluminado. Goddesses carrying gifts for the Budha. In the center of the temple there is a relic, that in the budhist sense is something very special: an unbreakable piece of the body of somebody who reached enlightenment.
