Together with my friend Sam we came up with a concept for a Poly Role Play<\/strong> game. The goal is to have fun and reflect by role playing different situations that come up in non-monogamous relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To play, you use this deck of cards that you can print<\/a> \u2014 or you can also make a copy of it and edit<\/a> on your own:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. You are non-monogamous partners<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Decide jointly on an imagined location (e.g., caf\u00e9)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Decide who is A<\/strong> and who is B<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. A<\/strong> draws two \u201cobjective” cards, keeps one, does not show it<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. B<\/strong> draws two “character\u201d cards, keeps one, does not show it<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. A<\/strong> will role play as themselves initiating a conversation on the objective, while B<\/strong> plays as the chosen character<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Role play for 3 to 5 minutes<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. Talk about the conversation (what feelings, thoughts, etc. did it bring)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
